With over 20 years in veterinary medicine, Dr. Michael Fife has dedicated his career to keeping pets happy, healthy, and thriving. From the moment he stepped into the field, he knew it was more than just a job—it was a passion.

Dr. Fife started his journey with a Diploma in Veterinary Technology from the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus, then went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the prestigious Ontario Veterinary College. But his learning didn’t stop there! He’s pursued specialized training in advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgical interventions, as well as certification in veterinary spinal manipulation techniques (VSMT)—basically, he's got some serious skills when it comes to helping pets move, heal, and feel their best.

One of his biggest passions? The human-animal bond. Dr. Fife believes that our pets are family, and he takes the time to ensure every patient gets top-notch care with a personal touch. Whether it’s a routine check-up, a complex surgery, or a gentle adjustment to improve mobility, he’s dedicated to making a difference in the lives of both pets and their people.

Dr. Fife is just as committed to the people he works with as he is to the animals he treats. He strives to be the kind of leader who inspires, supports, and uplifts his team every single day. Whether it’s through mentoring, sharing a laugh, or simply being present and approachable, he’s built a work culture where teamwork, respect, and kindness come first. His goal? To be nothing less than the best boss ever—someone who creates a positive, empowering environment where every staff member feels valued, heard, and appreciated.

When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Fife enjoys spending time with his partner, Francesca, their six amazing kids, and their beloved Portuguese Water Dog, Georgia. Whether they’re exploring the outdoors, staying active, or just enjoying some quality downtime together, family life is a big part of what keeps him grounded and inspired.
